Fighting out the finish of a Listed Race at Trentham Gardens 20.03.10 is Tip the Wink (inner, Rosie Myers) and Bankside Belle (outer, James McDonald). At the time Tip the Wink was under my management & Bankside Belle was added at the end of her racing career. For the record, Tip the Wink won by a nose in a blistering 1.07.24 for the 1200m and from memory it was Rosie Myers' first Black Type victory.
I purchased Tip the Wink privately - she was the foundation mare for 2019 NZ Breeder of the Year, Nearco Stud. She went on to win two Listed Races & was placed third in the Gr.1 Railway Handicap at Ellerslie. She was retained by he client & to date three of her progeny have made $100k or more at auction.
I purchased Bankside Belle at public auction for Nearco Stud and managed the early part of her career at stud. Coming from that was Belle du Nord (Reliable Man) who has been a Gr.2 winner & Gr.1-placed.
