The Ford Report' look back continues today with a piece on ROCK OF GIBRALTAR which first aired 15 October 2005. I was very mindful during this shoot at Coolmore Australia that we were looking at a world-class racehorse in the true sense. As a juvenile he'd won 5 of his 7 starts, while at three years he only raced in Group One company and won 5 out of 6 earning him the title of 2002 Horse of the Year.
Fifteen years of my life, from 1993 to 2008, was devoted to presenting & producing 'The Ford Report' for TAB Trackside. It was a magazine-style television programme providing a weekly window on the thoroughbred breeding industry of New Zealand and Australia.
