'The Ford Report' look back continues today with a piece on REDOUTE'S CHOICE which first aired 24 September 2005. We took the camera to the magnificent Arrowfield Stud at a time when there was a huge early boom on Redoute's Choice; his yearlings had averaged A$600k at Inglis Easter & his fee had been set at A$200k. John Messara was always willing to allow me to dig deep in any interview & was frank when I asked him if there had been any offers for the young gun stallion.
Fifteen years of my life, from 1993 to 2008, was devoted to presenting & producing 'The Ford Report' for TAB Trackside. It was a magazine-style television programme providing a weekly window on the thoroughbred breeding industry of New Zealand and Australia.
