The Ford Report' look back continues today with a piece on MORE THAN READY which first aired 08 October 2005. When our NZ-based crew filmed the shuttle horse and we interviewed studmaster Peter Orton, it was just the beginning for this stallion; little did we know that he would go on and sire nearly 2000 winners worldwide including 25 Group One winners.
Fifteen years of my life, from 1993 to 2008, was devoted to presenting & producing 'The Ford Report' for TAB Trackside. It was a magazine-style television programme providing a weekly window on the thoroughbred breeding industry of New Zealand and Australia.
