2020 NZB 3YO Filly of the Year Jennifer Eccles was taken to Te Aroha this morning to find suitable footing to have a really strong hit-out in preparation for next Saturday's Tarzino Trophy-Gr.1 (WFA, 1400m) at Hastings.
She sat off stablemate Excalibur (7 wins) in the early part of their 1200m gallop on a lovely surface (Dead 6/Slow 7 range) before joining him then easing clear in the final 200m.
Jennifer Eccles has won four Group Races to date (1600m to 2400m) and is currently second favourite at a $6.50 quote for next weekend's opening Group One of the NZ season.
