Challenge Syndications' filly Jennifer Eccles (Rip Van Winkle) topped off her preparation for the Group One Gavelhouse.com NZ 1000 Guineas this morning at the Cambridge Training Centre.
Ridden by her constant companion & track rider Colm Murray, Jennifer Eccles worked solo on the plough over 1000m. She eased into her work and gradually lifted the tempo, running strongly to the line. Her time was 65 seconds, the last 600m in a slick 36.5.
