2020 NZB 3YO Filly of the Year Jennifer Eccles will race just twice during the Queensland Winter Carnvial with her target race being the A$600,000 Tattersall's Tiara (WFA, F&M, 1400m) at Eagle Farm, 26 June.
Winner of the Al Basti Equiworld Dubai NZ Oaks-Gr.1 last year as well as three Group Two contests & a second placing in the 1000 Guineas, Jennifer Eccles paraded bright & well in an exhibition gallop today at Te Rapa. With Jonathan Riddell up, Jennifer Eccles ran 1000m, completing the final 800m in a tick over 48 seconds & the final 600m just north of 35 seconds.
Owned & raced by the Challenge TEN Syndicate, plans for Jennifer Eccles are as follows..
* 11 May - Trial at Avondale
* 29 May - A$150,000 Helen Coughlan Stakes-LR (F&M, 1200m)
* 26 June - A$600,000 Tattersall's Tiara-Gr.1 (F&M, 1400m)
A rider in Brisbane is yet to be confirmed.
