This is Enraptured (2yo filly by Preferment ex Grey Swallow, by Pentire) who produced a lovely trial effort at Ellerslie today. She had earlier been second in her debut trial before a quick freshen up.
While Challenge has some stylish young talent coming through - including the already Gr.2-placed BEST SELLER who runs in the Sires' Produce Stakes in three weeks - Enraptured is every bit a Classic filly to my eye and one to watch amongst the Challenge fillies going forward.
I purchased her as a Weanling from Milan Park, a stunning nursery in Cambridge which is owned by Tony Rider & well managed for him by Grant Bennett. Enraptured was broken-in by Paul Pertab, agists at Adrian Stanley's Woburn Farm and is trained by Shaune Ritchie & Colm Murray. She is owned by the Challenge WEANLING Syndicate.
The filly is likely to make her debut at Matamata in a Maiden 2YO, 30 March and today's rider Sam Weatherley has been offered the mount.
