Challenge winning strike-rate now 72%

Chiquitita's all-the-way victory at Te Teko today lifted Challenge Racehorse Syndications' winning strike-rate to 72%.

Since establishment in 2012, Challenge has had 18 runners for 13 individual winners. What's more, a further 4 runners have been placed, making for win-or-placed strike-rate of 94.44%.

Chiquitita, a four-year-old mare by Swiss Ace from Floramour, is trained by Shaune Ritchie for the Challenge No.7 Syndicate. She was ridden for the first time today by Jake Bayliss who did a terrific job of rating her in front.

Chiquitita (see photo included) is a half-sister to Manolo Blahniq, the winner of the recent VRC Chester Manifold Stakes-LR.
