The emphatic victory by Jennifer Eccles in yesterday's Group Two SkyCity Eight Carat Classic took Challenge Racehorse Syndications' renowned strike-rate to its' best level yet.
From 19 runners since inception in 2012, Challenge has produced 15 individual winners - representing a 79% winner-to-starter strike-rate.
Jennifer Eccles becomes the fifth individual Black Type Winner from those 19 runners, joining Secret Spirit, Avisto, Fascination Street and Dancer's Tale.
The SkyCity Eight Carat Classic win was the tenth Group and Listed Race won by a Challenge filly (Challenge only races fillies & mares).
Jennifer Eccles, raced by the Challenge No.10 Syndicate & trained by Shaune Ritchie, now leads the New Zealand Bloodstock 3YO Filly of the Year Series.
