I can admit that I'm hard to please when it comes to jockeys, but have to say that I have been mightily-impressed by the rise-and-rise of Sarah Macnab. Her balance & sense of timing to land the NZ Cup aboard Mondorani last Saturday told me she's come of age and should be in huge demand going forward.
So when John Bary & I needed a rider for Challenge's Wrote filly BEST SELLER in the Gr.2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes at Trentham Gardens, 04 December, Sarah came quickly onto my radar.
She's young (22), can ride light and is clearly hungry and talented - I'm delighted to have her aboard Best Seller who goes into the Black Type race off the back of an excellent debut fourth at Matamata and is very much a contender for the Trentham race.
