Business as usual for JENNIFER ECCLES

If three-year-old filly racetrack star Jennifer Eccles was an employee, she'd be Employee of the Month - every month.

I've had the privilege of watching her work at the track during the winter, spring, summer & now early autumn and every single time she comes 'to work' with the same willing attitude. That was certainly the case this morning when she went about her business with enthusiasm over 1200m on the plough. She was partnered by stablemate Evana Rahma (sister to Catalyst) and edged clear in the final 100m to clock a tick over 36 seconds for the final 600m.

Leading the NZB 3YO Filly of the Year Series & a hot favourite for next Saturday's Al Basti Equiworld Dubai New Zealand Oaks-Gr.1, Jennifer Eccles has had a remarkable season. She's won the SkyCity Eight Carat Classic-Gr.2 (1600m), David & Karyn Ellis Fillies Classic-Gr.2 (2000m) and Little Avondale Lowland Stakes-Gr.2 (2100m). What's more she was second in the Gavelhouse.com New Zealand 1000 Guineas-Gr.1 and third in both the Barneswood Farm Soliloquy Stakes-Gr.3 (1400m) and NZB Desert Gold Stakes-Gr.3 (1600m).

Jason Waddell has had two rides aboard Jennifer Eccles for two wins and will be looking to make it three-straight when he jumps aboard next Saturday at Trentham Gardens.

Jason Waddell & Jennifer Eccles share a moment post their runaway Little Avondale Lowland Stakes victory at Hastings.
