Best Seller retired/will be sold

Best Seller, winner of the 2022 Gold Trail Stakes-Gr.3 and second in Legarto's NZ 1000 Guineas-Gr.1, has been retired.

The 4YO mare has retired sound, been relocated to Woburn Farm (Cambridge), had her Breeding Certificate done and details of her pending offering to the marketplace will be announced tomorrow.

I selected Best Seller at the NZB Book Two Sale, Paul Pertab broke her in & John Bary trained her. At two she was second in Gr.2 Matamata Breeders' Stakes and fourth in the Gr.2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes. She resumed at three years with a last-to-first victory in the Pak N Save Fillies race at Taupo before producing a similar performance in the Gold Trail.

Owned by the Challenge Zen Syndicate & affectionately known as 'Bonnie', Best Seller stands 15.3hh, is the best-peforming of Wrote's progeny to date and like Verry Elleegant, is from a Danroad mare.
