The year is not over but I know for sure that there will be no greater highlight for me in 2018 than Beauty Generation being named Hong Kong Horse of the Year.
I planned his mating during my eight year stint as Manager of Nearco Stud. He was a great foal, lovely yearling and just keeps getting better as a racehorse!
He was raised and sold by Sam & Libby Bleakley at their Highden Park property on the outskirts of Palmerston North. I have no doubt that his upbringing there has stood to this wonderful international competitor and I'm proud to have had a small part to play in his outstanding career.
