Back Story: Full of Beauty & Beauty Generation

Congratulations to the respective connections of Full of Beauty & Beauty Generation for their electric performances at Sha Tin yesterday.

FULL OF BEAUTY (Darci Brahma ex Pennacchio, by Align) made it 6 wins from 9 starts in taking out the Gr.3 National Day Cup (1000m) in a sizzling 55.16 seconds. I purchased his dam privately for a client and planned the mating with The Oaks Stud's excellent stallion Darci Brahma. The mare was sent to Australia with Full of Beauty in utero. He was born at Bhima in New South Wales, initially raised there before being sent down to Victoria to be prepared for the 2016 Inglis Premier Sale by Maluka Thoroughbreds. His purchaser there, at A$120,000, was John Foote.

BEAUTY GENERATION (Road to Rock ex Stylish Bel, by Bel Esprit) reminded us why he has been twice Hong Kong Horse of the Year with his typically-dominant display in the Gr.3 Celebration Cup (1400m) in a record time of 1.20.05. I leased his dam for a client and planned the mating with Road to Rock, an excellent son of the great Encosta de Lago. Stylish Bel was placed in the care of Sam & Libby Bleakley at Highden Park near Palmerston North. Beauty Generation was born there, raised there & sold by Highden at the 2014 Karaka Select Sale. He made NZ$60,000 to the bid of Hermes Syndications (run by Kylie Bax).
